Downloads and licence keys
Whether an article belongs to the kind “Digital content” is decided by the kind of its product type. A digital article is not shipped but released – the release counts as the delivery, with everything that goes with it: invoice, status, delivery date.
At the article
In the Delivery and validity section:

Consho only hands out keys you have added beforehand. If the pool is not enough for an order, the order waits until it is refilled; “Only a few from” warns in good time.

When Consho releases
- As soon as the payment is in – with “On account” already with the order.
- And with regard to withdrawal: at once if the customer has agreed to an early start or is a business customer, otherwise after the withdrawal period has expired.
- An hourly cron releases what has been waiting – after the period or after the pool has been refilled.
Entitlements
In the order under Entitlements: per item, with release date and “Valid until”. You can only change the end and the lock – for an open invoice, say; the order itself stays unchanged. There is no download limit, but every download is logged with its time.
On the website
For a purely digital basket “Electronic delivery” instead of a shipping method; in the confirmation, when it will be ready; on release the mail “Your digital content”. On the order page the content is listed with “Download” and its state – such as “valid until …” or “on hold until the open invoice is paid”.
Findings
- Delivery “File” without a retrievable file (warning): nothing is released until a file from a protected folder is chosen.
- Key pool running low (warning): refill it.
- File or keys on an article whose kind does not use them (note).
- Start point without a domain (warning): otherwise the mail links to localhost.
