Law and tax in the EU
Consho provides the technology; you are responsible for the content. You enter legal texts, tax rates and periods yourself. This documentation is not legal or tax advice.
What a shop in the EU has to handle technically is in the core.
What the core provides
- Tax classes and tax rates: per country and period
- OSS and tax report: tax in the country of destination with a threshold counter and quarterly export for OSS (view “Tax report and quarterly export”)
- E-invoice: under ZUGFeRD (EN 16931) for business customers
- Withdrawal function: by link, without login (§ 356a BGB, § 13a FAGG)
- GDPR: access as a ZIP, erasure request, anonymisation after the retention period
Also part of this, described in other areas: reverse charge with VIES check in the checkout, warranty notice and GARAN label in the catalogue.
